But sensors are small, low-costs and limited in memory, computational capacities and power, how to prolong their life time by reducing power consumption is crucial importance. A good data storage and query scheme will effectively reduce power consumption and increase life time of the sensor networks. A new sensor sleeping schedule is proposed in this paper for power aware sensors, which will be arranged according to the power of sensors; the life time of the whole sensor network can be prolonged by allowing low power sensors to enter sleep mode for a longer time than high power ones.
