This research is based on the application of Pro/TOOLKIT, the Pro/TOOLKIT built-in Pro/ENGINEER software, use Visual C++ programming to construct the dialogue window system.
To connect the base of Visual C++ programming and Pro/TOOLKIT, first use Pro/ENGINEER to draw various standard parts and set up the relationship of the size. Then, use the built-in functional programming of Pro/TOOLKIT in Visual C++ programming environment to build a dialogue window where one can put in simple key words and values and get the complicated 3D standard parts automatically drafted. That's how the standard parts system works.
This paper focus on the standard parts of pressing mold, using dialogue windows to design automatic drafting system. First click on menu to enter pressing mold page in mold. And then choose the designate standard parts list in graphic and pages. Standard parts list is distinguished by normal and DIY. Users may choose by their own needs. The system includes 36 common standard parts of pressing mold, thus make it more efficiently for users to design and draft pressing mold.
