The base model and advanced model for the “autonomous line-tracking car” will be adopted in class and served as a teaching lecture.
In the base model (cds photo resistor autonomous line-tracking car), the cds photo resistor will be used as the sensor. It’s will be adopted as a subject midterm topic in the “Introduction to Mechatronic” course will provide the pre-test questionnaire and the guide handbook to the student to understand the course familiarity and needs for the students before the course is performed. We will provide the post-test questionnaire to understand the learning out course from student after the course is carried out.
In the advanced model (micro controller-controlled self-propelled vehicle), PIC18F4520 will be adopted as the controller, combining ultrasonic sensor and cds photo resistor. The car can automatically proceed along the line, the edge, and the dodge by using the ultrasonic sensor and the cds photo resistor.
