  • Abstract This paper is designed to use a voltage mode to control the DC buck converter through a feedback signal. The output voltage can be quickly stabilized while the input voltage is varied or the output current is varied. The voltage mode has a single feedback loop that makes circuit design and analysis simple. In order to improve the conversion efficiency, PWM (pulse width modulation) mode is adopted in the duty cycle of 60% or more, and PFM (pulse frequency modulation) mode is adopted instead of 60% less. This circuit is mainly used in the solar panel. The input voltage is 15V to 48V, the battery voltage for the vehicle is 13.6V to 13.7V, the switching frequency can be operated between 200k and 500k, and it is realized TSMC 0.25μm COMS technology process.
