Taiwan belongs to the subtropical zone geographically, it has four distinctive seasons in a year, therefore the explicit variance of the climate, such as the temperature and relative humidity etc., may potentially affect the general consumers in selecting retailing channels upon purchasing; the objective of the present study lies in studying the sales of the retailing channels influenced by the variance of climate in Taiwan area, therefore the present study utilizes the classification and clustering techniques used in the data mining as the research methods, focusing on the relevant analysis and studies in the sales data of retailers with climate data of Taiwan, and then summarizes the related climate and sales data as the conclusion of the present study, and sincerely hope that it can be contributed to the retailer industry as a reference for planning both the promotion activities as well as merchandise in different season
