The constantly reduced price makes it easy to enter each family. It has been transformed from high tech equipments to the household appliance. The computer has completely changed the individual behavior and family routing. The government has massively promoted different network-based E-service, but the phone service is still stagnated in traditional telephone network, making it difficult to apply the internet technology to provide better service than the plain old telephone service.
In the military domain, the digitized combat is the trend of the modern war. The digitized army and soldiers are also aggressively built by various countries. The battlefield is changing fast. The one who grasps the initiative and information first may gain the victory. Both the initiative and information depend heavily on the well-built communication system.
This thesis tries to combine SIP (RFC 3261) and ENUM (RFC 2916) protocols to address two applications: the life line communication system and the military application. For both application we propose several scenario and then propose the setup of the system and its communication mechanism. We also discuss the effects of different design options.
