We will use hand-hold mobile device which combines wireless network to communicate and interact with users. Also we apply RFID location and XTM to incorporate with area exhibition system to make users easier to get local guidance information and provide better information push services.
Our study is to build an information service transferring platform on the basis of short distance wireless communication such as RFID and wireless network and transform in room environmental information to the guidance data by XTM. After initial registration to the system, users can move with their RFID Tag, the on site reader will sense the approaching user. By RFID Tag and the feedback information of the on site reader showing on website browser with hand-hold device, the system can quickly know the location of the user without using designate guidance device or software. The differences between old on site service and inconvenient guidance system are: we provide the environmental information judging each individual location and we also add nearby area environmental information to the information of current location and we can update to the latest guidance information at anytime anyplace.
Therefore, beside short distance wireless communication technique and environmental sense technique, we combine XTM of Semantic Web, providing subject relating information push service. Beside detail expression to the subject, we add subject relating wide data collection to provide more complete information service to user. The information content can be revised at any time and we can easily build another new subject service such as information guidance services of campus and library or the application to E-business on the basis of the existing XTM system.
