  • Abstract Taiwan's Electronics Industry has taken a leading place, select a good PCB tool is very important in a company. There are a lot of criteria need to think when company adapt to PCB Tool. They must think a lot relative criteria and make the right decision.
    The purpose of this study are facing PCB tool evaluation question, Applying FMCDM for survey software provider. Based on the literature and consulting experts to building the survey criteria and modeling, we hope that can provide an objectively and efficiently method for the decision maker when they facing PCB tool evaluation question.
    The result of this study was mentioned below:
    1. By investigating current documentation and consulting experts, three main Criteria are “Software Provider”, “Software Function”, “Software Technology”; Fourteen Sub-Criteria are 1.”Price”, 2. “Finance Robustness”, 3.” Scale of Software Vendor”, 4.” Technology Support Capability”, 5.”R&D Innovation Capability”, 6.”Software Agility”, 7. “Operating Difficulty”, 8.”Customized Agility”, 9.”Meet internal manufacture requests”, 10.”Component Translate”, 11.”Support Import Other Tool’s Format”, 12.” Software Efficiency”, 13.“Request form Customer”, 14.”Same Format with Public Board”
    2. This study has received the result after Using Fuzzy Multi Criteria Decision analysis, “Technology Support Capability” and "R&D Innovation Capability" is most important sub-criteria in main criteria “Software Provider”. “Software Agility” and “Operating Difficulty” is most important sub-criteria in main criteria “Software Function”. “Software Efficiency” is most important sub-criteria in main criteria “Software Technology”. Traditional people think “Price” is the most important criteria but in this study, “Price” is the least important factor in main criteria “Software Provider”.
    3. This study has received a result after a professional critical selection for PCB tools S1、S2、S3、S4、S5, S1 is the priority consideration.
