First, using Pro/ENGINEER draw the template of the components. Secondly, we design the function of relations. Finally, we program the C programming codes to draw new components automatically.
The purposes of the research is to develop the plastic mold standard components. We design the automatic drawing system with the way of the user interface dialog. The system into Pro/ENGINEER by the drop-down menu, the dialog box include nominal and DIY(Do It by Yourself) pages, the dialog box page contains list for nominal and length of the components, input panel for modify the file name, and push button for component table and help etc. We complete 45 plastic mold standard components in the system. Via this system, to help the plastic mold product developer raise efficiency and design quality in graphics.
