Keyword helix QUADRIFILAR HELIX ANTENNAS QUADRIFILAR HELIX ANTENNAS helix Abstract In this paper, the quadrifilar helix antenna that is fed without hybrid is realized. The self-phased quadrifilar is established by two bifilars orthogonally and is fed by coaxial cable that connected with SMA in the center of antenna`s structure without hybrid of feeding network to obtain the 90-degree phase differential that affect the circular polarization effectively. Improve the bandwidth performance without affecting the character of circular polarization is used by adjust the each parameters of bifilars. Another method to improve the bandwidth and conclude the method used before is pasted thin piece-copper on the arm of helix part. The method is modified from the reference  which advances the usual way to improve the bandwidth. In this paper, the whole experimental results are modified and based on simulated results, and have good agreement in results of simulated and experimental tendency.
