  • Abstract This paper presents the application of a parameterized automatic drawing system, using Visual LISP programming language in the environment of AutoCAD. The system can cause the AutoCAD user to finish projection views of parts more accurately and efficiently. The system is the application of a multi-page and multi-layer auto drafting system which uses the whole graphics area of AutoCAD as a driving page and can plan each driving page to any X*Y number of driving blocks. The AutoCAD user all have to do is to pick the figures in the driving blocks and the system will link to LISP codes directly and finish the jobs automatically.
    The purpose of this paper is to integrate a completed mold part library, with the previously has been completed the first driving page plastic mold and the second driving page pressing mold, and design the third page die-casting mold standard part library. In die-casting mold library of the third driving page, use the methods of multi-page and multi-layer and plan 13 commonly used standard parts of die-casting mold. This system can make each step of parts drawings, pick the driving blocks to complete in the graphics area of AutoCAD, and finish a variety of die-casting mold parts projection views automatically.
