  • Abstract The positive effect of job satisfaction on organizational citizenship behavior and in turn affect organizational performance had been justified in the literature. Leader’s leading behavior, employee’s job-family balance, and emotional intelligence all may affect job satisfaction. Thus, the purposes of this study are to explore the effects of transformational leadership, work-family conflict, and emotional intelligence on job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior.
    The subjects of this study are bank clerks. Empirical data are collected by using on-line questionnaire, which is created through Google forms and published via an individual Facebook link. After a half months, 260 questionnaires were returned, after deleting 3 copies invalid questionnaires, 257 copies are valid, getting 98.85% valid response rate. Empirical data are analyzed using Smart PLS 2.0.M3 statistical software. Research results show that transformational leadership has a significant positive impact on organizational citizenship behavior; transformational leadership has a significant positive impact on job satisfaction; emotional intelligence has a significant positive impact on job satisfaction. However, work-family conflict has no significant negative effect on job satisfaction; work-family conflict has no significant negative impact on organizational citizenship behavior; job satisfaction has no significant positive impact on organizational citizenship behavior. Besides, job satisfaction has no mediating effect on the relationship between transitional leadership and organizational citizenship behavior; job satisfaction has no mediating effect on the relationship between emotional intelligence and organizational citizenship behavior; job satisfaction has no mediating effect on the relationship between work-family conflict and organizational citizenship behavior.
