  • Abstract Along with the rapid development of global Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and Internet, rapid growing of cloud computing is the trend recently. This study consider users of personal cloud services in Taiwan as the research target to evaluate the intention of using personal cloud services and to further explore factors affecting the acceptance of personal cloud services. The contribution of this study is to compromise the insufficient of UTAUT2 in personal characteristics by augmenting with the Technology Readiness construct. The research framework is comprised of 8 constructs and 3 moderators. Based on the research framework, 8 major hypotheses are derived. 260 copies of questionnaire are issued to collect data. The PLS method is employed to analyze data. The research findings indicate that 7 major hypotheses are accepted and a major hypothese is rejected. For the moderate effect, the results are mixed. However, the main moderate effect comes from experience and age. The moderate effect of gender is very limited except for hedonic motivation and habit. More and more organizations have outsourced their internal IT system and adopt cloud services. Up to now, only few researches focus on cloud services and explore the intention of accepting personal cloud services from both individuals and organizations viewpoints.
