  • Abstract In recent years, the rapid development of LCD flat-panel TVs (LCD TV),
    has replaced the traditional television (CRT TV). Its thin, high-resolution
    picture quality & large-size screen features, can not to be compared with
    traditional television. And the rise of environmental awareness, slim &
    energy-efficient high-definition LCD TV, will be the mainstream of the flat
    TV.
    The purpose of this paper brings up the new TV design to fit in with
    market demand and cost considerations. In this paper, we first explore the
    current flat-panel TV technologies such as LED backlight technology, LIPS
    power structure, ME / MC for anti-blur and anti-judder. Focused on the
    current environmental, slim, energy-saving of the demand, we proposed
    some methods to improve these topics based on the design of US standard
    TV.
