chip-attaching machine producing the RFID tags. Such an antenna is constrained to read exclusively one tag only for the purpose of functional check of the whole tag when it passes the reader antenna, namely, the other neighbor tags on the same rolling band are ignored that time.
We design two reader antennas for UHF and HF band. The first antenna is designed by the concept of Microstrip antenna and used in UHF band(860~960MHz).
But the disadvantage of Micristrip antenna is narrow band; we employed the concept of parasitic to increase frequency band.
Due to meeting the purpose, we depress the response of neighbor tags by magnetic shielding sheets. We also measure proximity field to prove this idea.
The second antenna is used in HF band. Because the wavelength of HF reader
antenna is too long, we design it to use the concept of coil antenna. The coil antenna is balance input device, but the testing instrument is unbalance and balun is designed, too.
