  • Abstract In computer graphic, refraction and caustic can increase realistic in simulating objects, but frame rate contraints usually limit these effects. In this paper, we use image-space approach to simulate refraction and caustic. We store some information to textures, such as normal information, depth information, color information, and we use these information to compute in the graphic card. This method can real-time render refractive objects and caustic. We only compute refraction on object’s front-face and back-face.
