  • Abstract In this thesis, we design a platform of content object management which is different from server-client structure in global network nowadays. We utilize the popular peer to peer network on content sharing as a basic so that users can conveniently and rapidly transfer information, share objects, and publish opinions. It can also combine the semantic web technique to build metadata for the platform of knowledge content management so that the integration of information, search, sharing and reuse become more quickly. By adding the concept of Web 2.0, the platform provides a way to publishing knowledge and cooperation, with a view to enhance the ability of exchanging information, sharing, reuse and interaction. At the same time it provides a number of convenient service to promote communication between the users to push ahead the ability of multi-link and content object management.
    Through this platform, users can exchange two-way options, and the management and search of content object become more easily and more accurately. Also, there are a great benefit for accessing knowledge. Through the results of our comparisons are informed that the designed functions on our system compared with the existing applications which have its unique feature and also can overcome some problems to existing client-server structures. Moreover, on the basis of peer to peer network, information items are under their own management and no longer have to worry about some difficult management problems to their own articles, photos and related metadata and the storage capacity and stability are in charge in their own hands.
