PLC based on Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) and is a multicarrier modulation technique. It is using Inverse Discrete Fourier Transform (IDFT). A large amount of work has been devoted to reducing the computation time of a Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT). This has led to efficient algorithms which are known as Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) algorithms. In this thesis, we will implement the PLC system based on Texas Instruments’ (TI) Digital Signal Processor (DSP) platform, TMS320C6416. Besides, after optimizing the operation cycle, the speed will be improved 3% to 7%. After optimizing the code size, the size will be reduced 5% to 9%.
