The Semantic Web is an extension of the current Web where information is given well-defined meaning, better, enabling computers and people to process in cooperation. In this thesis, we design and implement an architecture that is able to manage the metadata layer of the Semantic Web. The system consists of a RDF store (Sesame) as the indexing system of keeping the collected metadata. In front of users are a number of services interfaces that are implemented based on the inference engine and application interfaces provided by the RDF store. The conceptual search interface is a search function that attempts to conceptual match results with the query. The navigation service interface provides a way for searching the data by the semantic linker.
Through this kind of mechanism, I hope to provide a way for knowledge management and knowledge representation more easily and method for maintain information more efficiently.
