The crystallization structure, microstructure and thermal stability during mechanical alloying of as-milled powders were investigated by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and differential scanning calorimetry. After 12 hours milled, Mg40Ni5Cu35Ti20 amorphous powders exhibited a wide supercooled liquid region of 85K before crystallization. The as-milled Mg40Ni5Cu35Ti20 powders were consolidated at 280℃ for 10 minutes under a pressure of 1.2GPa by vacuum hot pressing into disc compacts with a diameter and thickness of 10 and 1mm, respectively, and its microhardness is 320 Hv.
