||After the Bauhaus campus had been constructed, which was designed by Walter Gropius in 1926, the concept of “combining architectural modeling and practical function” has made significantly influence to current modern architecture design. Because of evolution of technology, economic, and culture, architectures for different purposes involve in various practical functions, thus modern architecture design not only requests personal thoughts and stylish design, but also matches the practical needs, to make sure that the design has great balance between theoretical modeling and practical function.
Shopping mall is one of the forms of physical sales channels, in competition with other types of sales channel and e-commerce, shopping malls need to provide more diverse services and value added in Taiwan. Practically, while executing a new shopping mall project, design and manangement are always prior to commercial design, to avoid that the building could not satisfy the commercial use in the future. The deigner has to clearly understand the critical needs for the commercial use no matter on software or hardware aspect, and set goals for design and management. With these approachs, it can obtain long-term competitive advantage and unique distinguishable feature when the new shopping mall has been constructed.
This research used Modified Delphi Method and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). It is expected that the results of this research can be helpful for further study and knowledge management, and to eliminate disturbing factors caused by high diversity of job distribution for the practical use, cutting down the cost of time, human resourse, and expense while the new shopping mall project is executing, also boost the accuracy and efficency of design and management, making the shopping mall design more competitive and customer oriented.
