  • Abstract Creative innovation and invention in 3C product change with each passing day, the requirement of data rate and storage is more than before means that the signal integrity will be getting more challenge.
    This major purpose of this research is to build equivalent circuit for Ethernet transformer components by Genetic Algorithms. Due to the transformer has to connect to the TDR (Time Domain Reflectometry), we fabricate a test fixture; moreover, to build equivalent circuit. However, the equivalent circuit models both of them are different. Test fixture is composed of couple line which the analysis method is based on distributed equivalent model. And we will establish the multi-section SPICE model to analysis the performance of the unit sections. However, the electrical performance of high speed coil based component which we cared about is the whole distributed model not multi-section SPICE model. Thus, in this thesis we combine the two equivalent circuit models to form one model. Then, the parameter of the equivalent model which be extracted is simulated by Microwave office. At last, the simulation results and the measurement results are compared by the eye diagrams.
