This thesis studies design of helical array antenna and its compensation technique for radiation pattern. First realize the helical antenna application of GPS receiver antenna, and compare the receive result of original and our helical antenna. Second design high gain helical antenna that operating frequency at 435 MHz, using Computer Simulation Technology (CST) helpful us and simulating the result of retrun loss, radiation pattern and gain. Meanwhile, we also measure the return loss is -15.9 dB and gain is 7.411 dBi and compensate the radiation pattern maximum direction at θ is zero. Finally design three-element helical array antenna, determine the between element distance is 1 wavelength in order to increase the antenna gain and directivity, and measure its radiation pattern.
