  • Abstract A method is proposed to enhance the Return-Loss and axial-ratio bandwidths for a probe-fed circularly polarized microstrip patch antenna. The patch is stacked by a slot-ring at a distance of 0.1λ in free space. By shifting the relative positions between the patch and the ring, 8.6% axial-ratio bandwidth can be achieved from 0.88GHz to 0.96GMHz, the gain is higher than 6dBic within this bandwidth.
