Numerical solutions of hypersingular integral equations using radial basis functions are investigated. Among these functions multiquadrics functions and thin-plate splines with Legendre polynomials are our choices to approximate the solutions. We also solve a hypersingular integral equation arising in the study of the scattering acoustic wave by Galerkin and Collocation methods. Five numerical examples are given to illustrate our numerical techniques.
