  • Abstract With the increasing use of digital monitor technique, requirements for image interpolation have become more critical. Especially, the development of LCD screen sizes has grown up. However, the traditional algorithms have several serious disadvantages. First of all, the blocking effect and poor quality exist throughout the results. Therefore, in order to enhance quality of image. In the thesis, we present the second order polynomial approximation by used edge model. This method improves sharp of edge and resolution of image. The findings show that the propose method can reduce complex and that have high quality.
