Title STUDY OF EXERCISE WALKING EFFECT ON HEALTH VIA ELECTRO MERIDIAN ANALYSIS SYSTEM

  • Abstract The aim of the study is to investigate the effects of the exercise walking on the health and its impact on the twelve main meridians with the measurement by the Electro Meridian Analysis System (EMAS), and to observe the changes of the measured values before and after their exercise walking. The research is to measure the values of the 12 meridians’ currents by EMAS as well as the temperature of the 24 (Yuan) Acupoints in 20 participants, before and after they take exercise walking. We observed and measured the currents of Ryodoraku Acupuncture Readings, before and after they take exercise walking, for the twelve of twenty-four Ryodoraku Acupuncture. Meanwhile we also compared and analyzed the change of the measured values and the temperature from the 24 Ryodoraku Accupoints. Results of this study suggests that no matter how often they take the exercise walking weekly, the average meridian currents(Amc) are raised apparently(p-value < 0.05). And the currents are significantly raised, especially those who are walking more frequently. The measured currents of some meridians appeared higher values than the others; those meridians are Stomach Meridian(ST), Large Intestine Meridian(LI), Gall Bladder Meridian(GB), Bladder Meridian(BL). Therefore we conclude that exercise walking is a positive evidence to increase the meridian energy level. The average temperature at the accupoints had 0.3 degree Centigrade lower, before and after of their exercise walking.
