  • Abstract Soy isoflavones are a phytochemical group which associations with many beneficial effects. It were the compounds that researchers are very interested in recent years. The consist of genistin among 12 isoflavones forms is much more than other isoflavones forms.
      Genistin can prevent breast and prostate cancer by inhibiting cancer cell growth. At first, genistin were extracted from soybean , then isoflavone glycosides were isolated with C18 reversed phase column chromatography.The second,the purpose of this research was to replace the traditional separation process by molecular imprinting technique to separate and purify soy genistin from soybean extraction.
      Molecularly imprinting is a technology using molecules or molecular analogs as templates, which, during the polymerization, are mixed with the functional monomers. After the formation of the imprinted polymer, the template molecules are then washed to leave the recognition cavities. The template molecules can be entrapped in the cavities of these functional polymers.The problems of power-consuming and tedious procedure of traditional separation process could be overcome with cost-down and simplified process by using molecularly
    imprinted polymer.
      We established the original technology of polymerization via spray fluidized-bed. The polymerization solution were spray to form aerosol into reaction column then offer nitrogen carrier gas from bottom to reach fluidized state and provide sufficient time to polymerize. This device can instead of traditional polymerization method, as bulk polymerization, it through a sieve stage to collect appropriate size MIP particles ,but the particles morphology is irregular and experiment process need longer time. The MIP particles made by spray fluidized-bed system has advantage of steps facilitation and process efficient. Besides, this method also has great flexibility in that MIP particles can be generated and the size of aerosol can be changed by change the ratio of
    solvent in solution.
