In this paper, a system in which the home appliances can be controlled interactively and based on D-Bus is proposed. The D-Bus is developed to integrated modules and make them work cooperatively. The proposed system applying D-Bus to perform appliance integration and interactive control. Using the logical computation to improve the flexibility of interactive control between appliance. This system won't be limit to one-to-one control.
Users can manipulate the proposed system through the web operation: selection and query the controlled elements, design or reorganize the interactive rules between components. For example: To open the gate light, then the lights in living room will be turn on later. This is a chaining control. Or execute the rules to control other appliance interactively.
