  • Abstract In these years, people used to do consumption through Internet due to the growth of online-auction service. How auction websites attract consumers to use their services becomes a hot topic. This paper researches the effects between the quality of e-service and the consumer satisfaction. We also examine the moderating effect of the “evaluation” in auction website on the e-service.
In our research, we collect 204 valid online-questionnaires that answered by the consumers who have used YAHOO auction system or online-shopping platform. Then we analyze the 204 valid samples by SPSS and AMOS to verify hypotheses we develop.
This study found that incubative dimension factor and active dimension factor have significant positive effects on E-service quality, and their sub dimensions for these two dimensions, also conform with the original hypothesis of this study. We also found E-service have directly impact on satisfaction. The online auction web site evaluation has moderating effects on the relationship between active dimension and E-service. But online auction web site evaluation does not have moderating effects on the relationship between active dimension and E-service.
