  • Abstract Smart grid is a power system with sustainability and development, and the rising application under this framework is smart meter which is used to record and control the power consumptions of users that will be sent to the aggregator. The aggregator will collect power consumptions of all users and then deliver to the power company, and then the power company will control electric power according to the power consumptions. However, the power data of user may reveal the user’s privacy, so the user's privacy and safety communications has become considerable to be resolved issue. In the return of power information process of this article, we will check the identity of the meter and ensure data privacy and integrity of power data of users. Under the assumption of an aggregator is not fully trusted, the proposed method will use three testing methods to authenticate the identity and ensure data security. The verifications of the server of power company will reduce the computational complexity and burden of aggregators, and will reach the safety and efficiency of the power information gathering.
