  • Abstract The major of this study is use cold plasma modification on substrate
    and UV light grafting polymerization thermosensitive hydrogel. To confer
    the application of this kind of material on biomedical, such as cell
    attachment, Inter-penetrating Net-Work (IPN) thermosensitive hydrogel and
    surface grafting poly(N-isopropyl acrylamide) (PNIPAAm) on gold
    nanoparticle.
    To make use of cold plasma copolymerization to deposition alcohol or
    organosilicon polymer film on polystyrene (PS), and test the cell adherence.
    PS change into hydrophilicity, and the cell adherence as well as tissue culture
    polystyrene (TCPS) when cell culture macrophage and melanocyte after
    isopropanol (IPA) plasma deposition. Besides graft poly acrylamide (PAAm)
    by UV light, use the swelling character of PAAm to suck NIPAAm monomer
    and prepare the sandwich like hydrogel IPN-(PAAm/PNIPAAm). Due to
    there are still existence special characteristic of Lower Critical Solution
    Temperature (LCST) about 32 of PNIPAAm. ℃ For this reason, take the
    place of artificial musculature as a new model for irradiation experiments
    using focused ultrasound.
    The final of this investigate combine the front of two techniques, use
    plasma treatment to produce free radicle. To take gold nanoparticle use cold
    plasma glow discharge to produce free radicle after embellish of
    11-Mercaptoundecanoic acid (MUA) that contact with carboxyl and thiol.
    Subsequently use UV light grafting hydrogel monomer on gold nanoparticle.
    Embellish gold nanoparticle surface steady, fast and convenient. As a result,
    the color of Nano-Au(mua) is red wine, after O2 plasma treatment and then
    grafting thermosensitive PNIPAAm is purplish red and
    Nano-Au(mua)-g-PNIPAAm still have thermosensitive property.
