||The investment environment is seriously tougher in the recent years. The competitions for global economy under free trade surroundings are much fiercer than before. Enterprises gradually find Design Originality as the edge tool of future development. The output value of design service has been apparently growing for years. The suitable product design staffs selected by enterprised should be the right ones. Now most companies usually adopt the half constructive interviews focusing on masterpieces、originality、drawing capability、profession、 personal attitude and so on. The competency of interview is different among enterprises, and cannot be referred to conclusive items to follow up. There is no research for further discussion on the competency of interview cared by enterprises and the elements of influencing the competency of adaptability.
This research mainly probes into the considerable focal points about interviewing the design staff of household electric appliances, such as the competency of demand keys and personal distinguishing characteristics from design staff; analytically exploring the efficiency of interview as well as the methodological differences of interview evaluation. It is expected to conclude the competency elements of interview in order to find out the promotion of staff adaptability.
This research procedures include the first inspection of job main items from those household electric appliance designers as well as discussions of competency elements on External Competency 、Internal Competency、Personality Distinguishing Characteristic, then list out the main items of External & Internal Competency and discuss how many ways of interview. Another related question about interview competency shall be set up. The persons with the occupational experience on interviewing the industrial design of household electric appliances & product design, and the decision power of recruitment need to be invited for deep talk on evaluating the importance of each competency element as well as related problem questionnaire, original interview methods and general situation of adaptability rate. In addition, conferring with the interview is valued on the top five elements, reasons of respect、evaluative methods and effects. More conferring with the top five elements on influencing adaptability rate, reasons of respect、evaluative methods and effects shall be involved. The arrangement of interview data, the statistic analysis for interview on each element significance as well as the focused top five elements, and result analysis on the top five elements on influencing adaptability rate shall be mentioned. Finally, the connective analysis of interview valued elements and the elements on influencing adaptability rate shall be completed.
From selecting those design staff on household electric appliances, the result discovers that both“Special Competency – Graphics/Esthetics (application capabilities of 3D drawing software)” for External Competency and “Positiveness” for Internal Competency are valued as the top ones on the importance of competency elements. The interviews mainly focus on competency elements as the same “Special Competency – Graphics/Esthetics (application capabilities of 3D drawing software)”as External Competency of the highest importance. The next ones separately follow “Positiveness” for Internal Competency and “Core Competency - Innovation、Creativity (Originality)” for External Competency. The key factor of influencing adaptability after selection and holding a post is “Positiveness” for Internal Competency. The next ones separately follow“Core Competency - Innovation、Creativity (Originality)”、 Core Competency - Innovation、Creativity (Capability of problem solving). This information analysis also finds the influence of adaptability including 7 items from 10 ones for External Competency and 4 items from 5 ones for Internal Competency. There is no effect for personality characterics. According to the classification of External Competency and Internal Competency, 70% of element items from External Competency and 80% of element from Internal Competency can affect adaptability. The interviews also focus on competency elements and the ones of influencing the adaptability. There are 44.4% repeated for External Competency and 80% repeated for Internal Competency. If short of capabilities for External Competency, the applicants shall possess Internal Competency：Positiveness、Learning Power、Coordination、Stability、Enthusiasm on job, etc. All the mentioned above shall be the major criteria for recruiting applicants and will affect the adaptability afterwards.
